Dallas, Texas - The 15th-ranked Tulsa men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to 30th-ranked Oakland on Friday night in the Prego's Express Italian Men's Soccer Invitational at Westcott Field in Dallas, Texas. The Golden Hurricane fell to 2-2-1 on the season while OU moved to 5-0.

Gabe Hernandez scored the lone goal of the contest at the 19:33 mark as he played a free ball off a corner kick.

The Grizzlies out-shot the Golden Hurricane, 15-9, and had a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal. Freshman forward Austin Neil led TU with three shots, while Chris Taylor had the shot on goal.

Tyrel Lacey played all 90 minutes in goal for Tulsa and picked up six saves.

TU will return to action tomorrow in the Invitational. The Golden Hurricane is set to take on George Mason at 5:00 p.m.
