Fayetteville, Arkansas - University of Tulsa's Alex Becker finished in sixth-place in the women's 5,000 meters on Friday night at the NCAA Championships. Becker clocked a time of 16:34.63, while Angela Bizzarri of Illinois placed first overall in a time of 16:17.94.

The sixth place performance for Becker is good for All-America honors. A night earlier, Becker finished in fifth place in the 10,000 meters, which also qualified her for All-America mention.

It marked the second time that Becker has been named an All-American in the 5,000 meters.

Becker becomes the school's first five-time All-American. Along with this year's 5,000m and 10,000m All-America honors, Becker was a 5,000m Outdoor and 3,000m Indoor All-America recipient, both coming in the spring of 2007. She also earned Cross Country All-America accolades in fall 2007.

Becker was the final participant for the Tulsa team at this year's NCAA Track Championship.
