  • Tulsa game captains were G.J. Kinne and Mike Bryan.

  • Tulsa won the coin toss, and deferred to the second half. Last week, Tulane won the coin toss and Tulsa.

  • Tulsa Head Coach Todd Graham coached from the press box tonight. It's the first time as a college head coach that he has coached from the press box.

  • Tulsa's Cory Jefferis' first kick-off was downed in the end zone for a touchback.

  • George Clinkscale recovered a fumble on Tulsa's first punt, it was his third career fumble recovery.

  • James Lockett forced a first quarter fumble, it was his sixth of his career as well as the sixth in the last two years (Tulsa did not recover the fumble).

  • In his second collegiate game, Cory Dorris had his first and second career fumble recoveries against New Mexico.

  • Damaris Johnson had his third career 100-yard receiving game, as he had two last year in his freshman season.

  • John Destin had his second interception of the season. He had his first of the year last week for a 32-yard return against Tulane.

  • Slick Shelley caught two touchdown passes in the game, totaling 17 and 22 yards. It was his third two touchdown game in his two-year career with the Hurricane.

  • G.J Kinne's four touchdown passes was the most for a Tulsa quarterback since David Johnson's four TD passes last year at Houston.

  • Tulsa has gone over 400 yards in each of its first two games this season. Tulsa has now surpassed 400 yards in total offense in 27 of the 30 games with Todd Graham as head coach.

  • Tulsa has now scored 40 or more points in 17 of 30 games since Todd Graham became the head coach in 2007. The Hurricane has now scored over 40 points in 15 of the last 22 games.

  • Trae Johnson has four receptions on the season, and three have gone for touchdowns, including two vs. New Mexico.
