Head Coach Todd Graham Opening Statement... "I have to give a lot of credit to the Oklahoma Sooners because they were a dominant team today. We had our chances early. We started the game we wanted to with a big turnover, but we weren't able to capitalize. I'm proud of our kids and proud of our effort, but now we just need to move forward as a program. We got beat by a better team today."
Frustration of missed chances early in the game... "It's always easy as a team to say that you beat yourself turning the football over, but their were people causing those turnovers. They have a tremendous defensive front and they are going to have a great advantage over a lot teams with that line."
"The disappointing thing was that we were outflanked on defense and had guys running free in the secondary. We didn't do a good job of scheming there, but we make absolutely no excuses. Bottom line today was that they were a better football team. Now we go to work on a conference championship that we have a chance to win, and go to work for Sam Houston State next week."
Senior linebacker Mike Bryan On OU's offense... "They are a lot better than I thought they were. They moved the ball pretty consistently. They surprised me on the running game, and they surprised me on the pass as well."
On Landry Jones... "Landry Jones, these last couple of games that he came in for Bradford, he hasn't shown much on film. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from the quarterback, and today he came out and led his team to victory and he did a good job."
On the emotion of the game... "It was very emotional. I thought about my dad a lot today. Seeing that stuff on the press box, the All-America stuff, the video they played, it was an honor and I appreciated that. I wouldn't say it was a distraction, it gave me more motivation to come out and perform."
