Tulsa's Galen Scott Accepts Coaching Position at Memphis

Tulsa, Okla. - University of Tulsa's cornerback coach Galen Scott has resigned his position from the Tulsa football coaching staff, and has been named to the coaching staff at Memphis under first-year head coach Larry Porter

Scott will coach the linebackers for the Tigers.

Scott spent two seasons at Tulsa where he coached the cornerbacks last year and the outside linebackers/safeties in the 2008 season.

Before coming to Tulsa, Scott spent seven years on the coaching staff at Illinois State, including his final two seasons as the Redbirds' defensive coordinator.
