Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa-SMU football game this Saturday will be televised in Tulsa by Cox Communications and shown live on Cox-Channel 3 and HD 703. Kick-off is a 7:05 pm at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas.

The Golden Hurricane continues its' preparations for the Mustangs on Thursday before heading to Dallas on Friday afternoon.

Tulsa enters the game with a 3-2 overall record and 1-1 league mark, while SMU shares the Conference USA West Division lead with Houston at identical 2-0 league records. The Mustangs are 3-2 overall.

"In my five years in this league, I've never been to Dallas and it's been easy. It's always been a challenge. I have a lot of respect for Coach Jones and his staff. The job that they've done has been phenomenal," said Tulsa Head Coach Todd Graham. "You expect the offense to do the job and put up the numbers that it does, but the thing that has been most impressive is the defense and the special teams.

"I think this game is going to have a big impact on the West Division," added Graham.

The two teams come into the game each scoring over 30 points per game, while Tulsa leads the league in total offense (507.8 ypg) and rushing offense (216.8 ypg). SMU's defense is second in the C-USA against the run, holding opponents to just 111 rushing yards per game.

The two quarterbacks, Tulsa's G.J. Kinne and SMU's Kyle Padron, are tied atop Conference USA for touchdown throws with 13 TD passes apiece. Kinne has thrown for 284 yards, while Padron has averaged 236.6 yards per game.
