Tulsa Faces UCF in C-USA Championship Semifinals

Memphis, Tenn. - Tulsa's sixth-seeded men's soccer team will take on No. 2 seed UCF in the Conference USA Championship semifinals on Friday, Nov. 12th. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, Tenn. The other semifinal game, which will begin at 5:00 p.m., features No. 1 SMU vs. No. 4 South Carolina.
In first round action, TU topped Kentucky, 5-0, while USC earned a 2-1 win over UAB.
The Golden Hurricane and Knights faced off earlier this season, as the teams battled to a 1-1 double-overtime tie on Nov. 5th. Tulsa maintains a 6-0-1 lead in the all-time series against UCF.
TU is in a hunt for its fourth-straight Conference USA Championship title this week, as the Golden Hurricane won the tournament in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In the five-year history, Tulsa has tallied a 10-2-2 overall record in the tournament and advanced to the championship game four times.
