Tulsa Faces South Carolina in C-USA Championship Match

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa's sixth-seeded men's soccer team will take on fourth-seeded South Carolina in the Conference USA Championship finals on Sunday, Nov. 14th. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, Tenn.
TU topped No. 3 Kentucky (5-0) and No. 2 UCF (2-1) en route to the title game, while South Carolina defeated No. 5 UAB (2-1) and No. 1 SMU (2-1) in the tournament.
The Golden Hurricane and Gamecocks faced off earlier this season, as then 20th-ranked USC earned a 1-0 win over TU in Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane maintains a 4-3-2 lead in the all-time series with South Carolina.
TU is in a hunt for its fourth-straight Conference USA Championship title this week, as the Golden Hurricane won the tournament in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In the six-year history, Tulsa has tallied an 11-2-2 overall record in the tournament and advanced to the championship game five times.
