• At the 7:58 mark of the first quarter, Kevin Fitzpatrick's field goal attempt was blocked. It was the fourth time this season that an opposing team has blocked a Tulsa field goal attempt.
• At the 3:43 mark of the first quarter, Genesis Cole threw his first career touchdown pass on a 41-yard halfback pass to Damaris Johnson.
• Damaris Johnson scored three touchdowns in the game, two receiving and one kickoff return. It is the first time this season a TU player has scored three touchdowns. It is the first time a TU player has scored three touchdowns since Charles Clay scored four at Southern Miss (11/21/09).
• Tulsa scored 20 points in the first quarter, the most first quarter points this season. The season's previous best was 14 points against Memphis (10/2/10).
• Damaris Johnson's 163 receiving yards marks the first time Tulsa has had a 100-yard receiver since Johnson caught 17 passes for 196 yards against Southern Miss (11/21/09).
• Damaris Johnson recorded his ninth career 100-yard receiving game. That ties him with Damon Savage (1996-99) and Donald Shoals (1999-2001) for the fifth-best among all TU receivers.
• Tulsa's 41 first half points were the most since Tulsa scored 49 points at UTEP (10/18/08).
• At the 0:31 mark of the second quarter, true freshman Thomas Roberson scored his first career touchdown on a 19-yard reception from G.J. Kinne.
• For the first time this season, Tulsa had two scoring drives of 90 yards or more in the same game.
• In the first half, Damaris Johnson had 225 all-purpose yards. That moved him from 18th to 10th on the NCAA's all-time chart surpassing Mewelde Moore (Tulane/2000-03), Trevor Cobb (Rice/1989-92), Charles White (USC/1976-79), Paul Palmer (Temple/1983-86), Tony Dorsett (Pittsburgh/1973-76), Terance Mathis (New Mexico/1985-87) and Ron Dayne (Wisconsin/1996-99). Johnson also surpassed Reggie Bush (USC/2003-05) whose statistics are no longer recognized by the NCAA. Johnson finished the game with 322 all-purpose and 6,824 for his career.
• Johnson's all-purpose yardage total also moved him past Mewelde Moore for third on the C-USA all-time all-purpose yards chart.
• Tulsa blocked a PAT and returned it for a safety for the second consecutive game. At the 11:48 mark of the third quarter, Darrell Zellers blocked the PAT attempt and John Flanders recovered and returned the ball 67 yards for the safety.
• At the 11:35 mark of the third quarter, Damaris Johnson returned the kickoff for a 94-yard touchdown. It was Johnson's second career kickoff return for a touchdown. The other was also a 94-yard return against UTEP (10/18/08).
• G.J. Kinne ended the game with 371 passing yards. That marked the sixth time he has thrown for 300 more yards in a game and his third-best single-game effort. Kinne is now tied with David Johnson for second most 300-yard passing games in Tulsa history.
• Kinne moved past James Kilian for sixth on TU's all-time passing yards chart with 5,154 yards. He became the sixth Tulsa quarterback to surpass the 5,000-yard mark.
• Kinne tallied 417 yards of total offense. He now has 5,859 yards for his career. Kinne surpassed Steve Gage (1983-86) and Gus Frerotte (1990-93) to move into fifth on TU's all-time chart.
• Kinne's 46 rushing yards gives him 703 for his career. He moved past Paul Smith (2003-07) and Ronnie Morris (1960-62) to become Tulsa's third best rushing quarterback.
• Kinne's four touchdown passes were the most since he three threw five touchdown passes against East Carolina in the season opener (9/5/10).
• Damaris Johnson ended the game with 134 kickoff return yards and 3,054 for his career. Johnson surpassed Jessie Henderson (SMU/2005-08) to become C-USA's all-time leader in kickoff return yards and just 64 yards of the NCAA record (3,118) held by Brandon West (Western Michigan/2006-09).
• Damaris Johnson's three kickoff returns gave him 119 career returns. That moved him into first on TU's all-time chart past Jason Jacoby (2004-08).
• Damaris Johnson now has 2,404 career receiving yards. He moved past Brennan Marion (2007-08), Chris Penn (1991, 1993), Steve Largent (1973-75) and Garrett Mills (2002-05) for sixth on TU's all-time chart.
• Charles Clay now has 2,387 career receiving yards. He also moved past Marion, Penn and Largent for seventh on TU's all-time chart.
• At the 6:16 mark of the fourth quarter, redshirt freshman Jordan James caught his first career reception on a 27-yard pass from Shavodrick Beaver.
• Tulsa's 64 points are the most scored in a game since the team scored 77 points against UTEP (10/18/08). It also marked the fifth time that Tulsa has scored over 60 points in a game under head coach Todd Graham.
• Tulsa's 612 yards of total offense was the most since the team tallied 632 yards against Ball State in the GMAC Bowl (1/6/09). It also marked the 11th time that Tulsa has gone over the 600-yard mark under head coach Todd Graham.
• Tulsa's victory marked head coach Todd Graham's 32nd career win. He surpassed F.A. Dry for sole possession of seventh place among all TU coaches.
• With its sixth win of the season, Tulsa is now bowl eligible for the fifth time in the past six years.
