Tulsa Men's Golf Finishes Seventh at National Invitational Tournament

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Tulsa men's golf team finished seventh with a 14-over par 878 total on Thursday at the National Invitational Tournament at the par 72 Omni Tucson National Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.
The Hurricane fired its best round of the tournament on Thursday with a one-under par 287 third round total. They carded 294 in the first round and 297 in the second round on Wednesday.
Sophomore Arie Fauzi placed 20th with a two-over par 218 total, highlighted by a two-under par 70 in the third round. Sophomore Stephen Carney tied for 24th with a four-over par 220 total, and senior Rob Laird tied for 36th with a six-over par 222 total.
Tulsa returns to action on April 5-6 at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in Austin, Texas.
