Tulsa Men's Soccer Team Hosts Green Bay This Saturday

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa men's soccer team returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 8th against Green Bay beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the north ticket gate.

The Golden Hurricane enters the contest with a 4-6 overall record, and is led by Omar Mata with three goals and three assists for nine points. Stephen Roberson has two goals and three assists for seven points, and Corey Albertson has two goals and one assist for five points. Michael Murray has logged over 833 minutes in goal, picked up 31 saves for a 0.705 saves percentage, allowed 13 goals for a 1.40 goals-against average, and earned one shutout this season.
The Phoenix has a 4-5-1 overall record, and dropped its last three contests on the road. Tony Walls has three goals and three assists for nine points, while three players are tied with two goals for four points. Ryan Wehking has played the majority of minutes between the posts, has 39 saves and a 1.25 goals-against average.
Green Bay won the only previous meeting with Tulsa back in 1985.
