Men's Golf Team Gets Back in Action

Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. - The Tulsa men's golf team is back in action at the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational, Sunday-Tuesday, Feb. 27-March 1, at the par-72, 6,962-yard Sawgrass Country Club course.
The 15-team field includes #3-ranked Florida, #9 LSU, #11 Auburn, #17 Arkansas as well as Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville, Mercer, Mississippi, North Florida, TCU, Tennessee, Tulsa, UAB and UCF.
The Hurricane opened the fall season two weeks ago with a fourth-place performance at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational. Tulsa had three top-20 finishers at that event as junior Stephen Carney and freshman Johannes Veerman tied for 12th place in the field of 92 golfers.
Last year, Tulsa finished in a fifth-place tie with Tennessee in the 15-team field as North Texas captured the team title.
