TULSA, Okla. - Senior Jo-Anne Karaitiana (Women's Tennis) has maintained a 3.16 grade-point average in exercise sports science. Sophomore Grant Ive (Men's Tennis) has maintained a 3.26 grade-point average in accounting.

Karaitiana, a native of Melbourne, Australia, helped lead Tulsa to its fourth Conference USA Championship in five years this past weekend. She and senior teammate Alexandra Kichoutkin won their doubles match in the Quarterfinals against Tulane, and Karaitiana's win at No. 6 singles clinched the championship for the Golden Hurricane. TU is currently on a 20-match win streak.

Ive, a native of Johannesburg, South Africa, helped lead the men's team to its fifth Conference USA Championship in the last six years as TU swept all three of its opponents. Ive picked up a singles victory against Memphis in the semifinals, and he and fellow sophomore Tristan Jackson won doubles matches against both Memphis and Rice in the championship match. Ive and Jackson came from a 6-3 hole in their doubles match against the Tigers to win 8-6, securing the doubles point for the Golden Hurricane in the process.
