• Tulsa game captains were: Senior quarterback Cody Green, senior receiver Jordan James and senior linebacker Shawn Jackson.
• Senior linebacker Shawn Jackson made his 36th career start, and senior guard Stetson Burnett made his 33rd career start.
• At the 7:18 mark of the first quarter, senior running back Ja'Terian Douglas caught his first career touchdown pass on a 17-yard pass from Cody Green. The scoring play also marked Douglas' longest career reception.
• At the 6:24 mark of the first quarter, sophomore safety Michael Mudoh recorded his first career interception and returned it for seven yards.
• At the 12:57 mark of the third quarter, sophomore defensive tackle Derrick Luetjen recorded his first career forced fumble.

• With no time on the clock, junior placekicker Carl Salazar kicked his third field goal of the game from 34 yards to give Tulsa the 30-27 victory.
• Cody Green threw three touchdown passes for the fourth time in his career (third at Tulsa, once at Nebraska) and third time in the last six games.
• Trey Watts finished the game with 154 rushing yards. It was his seventh career 100-yard rushing game and his second most rushing yards in a game. Watts had 159 yards rushing against Oklahoma State (9/17/2011).
• The last time a Tulsa player rushed for to 100 yards in a game, Watts ran for Trey 149 yards against Iowa State in the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl (12/31/12).
• Trey Watts now has 2,348 career rushing yards. He moved past Gordon Brown (1984-85) and Ken Lacy (1979-82), respectively, and is now seventh on Tulsa's career rushing chart.
• Ja'Terian Douglas rushed for 43 yards in the game and now has 2,219 career rushing yards. He surpassed Gordon Brown (1984-85) and is now ninth on Tulsa's career rushing chart.
• Colorado State's 113 passing yards are the fewest allowed by the Tulsa defense since the Hurricane held Memphis to 82 passing yards in a 48-7 victory (10/2/10).
• The win marked head coach Bill Blankenship's 20th career victory in 29 games at Tulsa.
• Tulsa finished with 429 yards of total offense. It was the 15th time Tulsa has produced 400 yards or more in 29 games under Blankenship.
