• Tulsa wore gold helmets, blue jerseys and gold pants for the first time this season.
• Tulsa team captains were senior linebacker Donnell Hawkins, junior defensive end Derrick Alexander and senior offensive lineman Garrett Stafford.
• Senior defensive back DeMarco Nelson made his 46th start in 47 career games played.
• Garrett Stafford made his 21st consecutive start on the offense, while defensive starters Derrick Alexander and Michael Mudoh started their 19th consecutive games.

• At the 10:31 mark of the second quarter, sophomore receiver Keevan Lucas scored his eighth receiving touchdown of the season on an eight-yard pass from Dane Evans. Lucas has caught a touchdown pass in six of seven games this season.
• At the 3:36 mark of the second quarter, junior defensive end Derrick Alexander tackled USF quarterback Mike White for a nine-yard loss. It was Alexander's fourth sack of the season.
• With no time left on the clock in the second quarter, senior kicker Carl Salazar connected on a 19-yard field goal. It was his second field goal of the game and his 25th career field goal. He surpassed Chris Earnest (1998-2001) for ninth on Tulsa's all-time chart.
• Tulsa scored 27 points in the first half--the most since it scored 35 points in a road game against UAB (September 29, 2012).
• Tulsa finished the first half with 314 total offensive yards--the most this season. The previous high was 298 yards against Tulane in the season opener (August 29, 2014).
• At the 12:15 mark of the fourth quarter, Derrick Alexander tackled Mike White for a seven-yard loss. It was his second sack of the game and fifth sack of the season. Alexander now has 14.5 career sacks.
• Tulsa finished with 488 total offensive yards--the second-highest total of the season behind the 592 gained against Tulane in the season opener.
• Dane Evans finished the game with 314 yards passing. It was Evans' second-career 300-yard game and second-best passing game behind his 438-yard effort against Tulane in the season opener (August 28, 2014). Evans is the 13th Tulsa player to record multiple career 300-yard passing games.
• Keevan Lucas finished the game with 160 yards receiving on 11 receptions--his second-best total of the season. It was his third consecutive 100-yard receiving game and fourth this season.
• Zack Langer finished the game with 100 yards rushing. It was his second-consecutive 100-yard rushing game and the second for his career.
• Tulsa had a 300-yard passer (Evans), 100-yard rusher (Langer) and 100-yard receiver (Lucas) in the same game for the first time since November 12, 2011 against Marshall (G.J. Kinne, 302 passing; Ja'Terian Douglas, 194 rushing; Trey Watts, 144 rushing; Bryan Burnham, 146 receiving).
• For the third time this season, Tulsa had a 100-yard rusher (Langer) and a 100-yard receiver (Lucas) in the same game.
• Bishop Louie had a career-best 51 yards rushing on three carries for a 17.0 average.
• Tulsa has now lost six consecutive games--the longest losing streak since a six-game slide during the 2009 season.
