PRESS CONFERENCE MONDAY TO INTRODUCE NEW FOOTBALL COACH

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Philip Montgomery, Baylor University's offensive coordinator, will be introduced on Monday as The University of Tulsa's head football coach. Montgomery will be introduced as the school's 29th head football coach at an 11:00 a.m. press conference on the TU campus. Watch live here.
Montgomery has logged nearly two decades of coaching experience, including the past seven (2008-14) at Baylor where he most recently has served as the offensive coordinator for the Big 12 powerhouse. The Bears have posted 10 or more wins in three of the last four years, including 11 victories in the 2013 season and this year.
Following Baylor's record-breaking 2013 Big 12 championship season, Montgomery was honored as the Offensive Coordinator of the Year by FootballScoop and was named a finalist for the Broyles Award given to the nation's top assistant.
This season, Baylor has produced an 11-1 record and No. 4 ranking in the Associated Press poll. Montgomery has coordinated a Bear offense that ranks first nationally for total offense with an average of 581.3 yards per game and is also number one in the nation for scoring with a 48.8 average.
