TU FOOTBALL HOSTS FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN MOBILE PACKING EVENT

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa football team will host a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack event on the TU campus at the Donald W. Reynolds Center this Thursday, April 17th.
Volunteers are still needed for the times of 12-2 pm and 2:30-4:30 pm. To volunteer, sign-up here. or contact Micki Heatly at micki-heatly@utulsa.edu or 918.631.2544. Volunteers will hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and the meals will be shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world.
Feed My Starving Children is an organization committed to minimizing world hunger issues. TU Head Football Coach Bill Blankenship has been involved in the program for five years and is extremely passionate for this organization and their mission.
For the last three years, the Tulsa Football Team has volunteered to pack food at a FMSC MobilePack event. Over the course of TU's three-year commitment to FMSC we have packed over 90,000 meals, which translates to feeding more than 250 children in one calendar year.
