Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa men's soccer player Tony Rocha was drafted by Sporting KC in the 2015 Major League Soccer SuperDraft today. Rocha was the 11th pick in the fourth round and 73rd overall.

"I am happy Tony has this opportunity to play in the MLS, he deserves it," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "He has a lot of great qualities and it is hard to find a quality left-footed player. Kansas City is one of the best teams in the MLS and just two years ago won the MLS Cup."

Rocha was a four-year letterwinner and starter at the midfield and defender positions. He had seven goals and 10 assists for 24 career points, while helping post 14 shutouts in just his last two seasons. Rocha was a three-time All-Conference USA performer, a two-time C-USA All-Tournament team selection, was tabbed to the C-USA All-Freshman team and was the 2011 C-USA Freshman of the Year.
