Tulsa Rebranding Campaign Continues

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa Athletic Department unveiled its updated logo as part of a rebranding campaign in December. Today, the campaign continues as it's the first opportunity for fans to purchase merchandise with the new TU marks

"Re-establishing our traditional royal blue and old gold as our primary colors and script Tulsa with Hurricane Flag logo as our core identity is essential in growing our historic brand," said Director of Athletics Rick Dickson.
 
The updated Tulsa marks include the primary logo of the Tulsa Script + Flag with both a blue and gold script Tulsa option, dependent on the background color being used. The gold script will be used on blue or dark color backgrounds, while the blue script will be used on lighter backgrounds, such as gold and white.

The University has established a trademark licensing program to control the use of its trademarks ensuring the quality and consistency of all of the University's merchandise. It also enables the University to generate revenue from the sale of merchandise bearing its logos and marks.

In mid-February, Tulsa will reveal a new look, name and benefit levels for the fundraising arm of TU athletics, the Golden Hurricane Club. The GHC has been the lifeblood of Golden Hurricane athletics for more than 90 years and has impacted many student-athletes – past, present and future – who have entertained on the field of play and made fans proud as graduates of The University of Tulsa.
