Dear Golden Hurricane Family,
As another academic year has come to a close, I find myself incredibly grateful for what we've accomplished together. The 2025-26 year was one of the most successful in recent memory, not because of any one championship or milestone, but because of the people who make Tulsa Athletics special. Our student-athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, donors, fans and partners continue to raise the standard for what it means to represent the University of Tulsa.
At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to developing championship people.
This year, our student-athletes earned the highest cumulative GPA in department history with an outstanding 3.418 GPA. Forty-four Golden Hurricane student-athletes earned All-Conference academic honors, and 30 received CSC Academic All-District recognition.
We also celebrated the first graduating class of our Pathway to Sports Academy. Thirty-two students completed the program, gaining meaningful experience and valuable industry connections that will prepare them for careers in sports and beyond. Watching this program come to life has been one of the most rewarding developments of the past year because it reflects our commitment to preparing students for success long after competition ends.
Together, we recorded the highest annual fundraising total in Tulsa Athletics history for the second consecutive year. That momentum was fueled by a record-breaking TU Giving Day, where more than $1.58 million was raised in support of our student-athletes. It was an incredible reminder of what can happen when the Golden Hurricane family rallies together.
The momentum extended far beyond fundraising. We held a sold-out Zach Bryan concert, hosted our Night of Legends celebration, increased licensing revenue by more than 25 percent for the second consecutive year and introduced exciting new partnerships like Tulsa Golden Lager with Marshall Brewing Company and Golden Barrel Bourbon Route 66 Reserve with Hochatown Distilling. These efforts strengthen our brand, create new resources for our programs and position Tulsa Athletics for long-term success.

Our investments into the student-athlete and fan experience continued through major facility improvements, including enhancements to our indoor golf training facility, softball locker room and premium spaces inside the Reynolds Center. These projects improve the daily experience for our student-athletes while creating an even better environment for our fans and supporters.
On the competitive side, our programs delivered one of the finest years Tulsa Athletics has enjoyed in more than a decade.
Four teams—Women's Golf, Volleyball, Men's Tennis and Men's Cross Country—captured American Conference Championships, giving Tulsa its most conference titles in a single academic year since 2015-16.

These accomplishments don't happen by accident. They are the result of talented people who choose every day to pursue our core values of integrity, excellence, development and teamwork. I encourage you to click here to read our full Year in Review.
As we look ahead to a new year, our focus remains clear. We will continue investing in our student-athletes, strengthening our relationships throughout the community and building championship programs that make the University of Tulsa proud.
Thank you for believing in Tulsa Athletics. Your support changes lives, creates opportunities and allows us to continue building something truly special together.
