
NFF HONORS TULSA DEFENDERS McDANIEL AND SIZELOVE

The two TU seniors were selected to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society
The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame has announced that University of Tulsa senior defenders Austin McDaniel and Jake Sizelove are among the 817 football student-athletes nationally who were named as members of the 2015 NFF Hampshire Honor Society.
The Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions who each maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or better. The players are starters or significant contributors who completed their eligibility in the 2014 season.
Both McDaniel and Sizelove are four-year letterwinners and former walk-on athletes for the Golden Hurricane. McDaniel, a cornerback, totaled 62 career tackles and had 23 stops and a team-high five pass breakups in 10 games and six starts as a senior in 2014.
McDaniel, from Waco, Texas, possesses a 3.58 grade-point average and will receive his bachelor's degree later this week at graduation ceremonies. He majored in History and Economics while minoring in Philosophy and Spanish.
Sizelove started nine of 11 games played at linebacker in the 2014 campaign, while compiling 68 tackles and six stops for lost yards. He had 100 career tackles in 40 career games.
A native of Argyle, Texas, Sizelove earned his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering last May with a 3.65 GPA. He is currently working towards his master's degree in Business Administration.
