Robinson broke the program record in the 200 over the weekend

The University of Tulsa's Bryce Robinson was named the American Athletic Conference's Men's Track Athlete of the Week for his sprinting performances at the Red Raider Open and Longhorn Invitational last weekend.

At the Red Raider Open in Lubbock, Texas, Robinson broke a 49-year old Tulsa record in the 200-meter dash, with a time of 20.30. The time qualified the junior for the USA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, beginning in June. Earlier in the day, Robinson ran the fourth-fastest 100-meter time in the West and a conference-best time of 9.99 seconds.

Two days later at the Longhorn Invite, Robinson followed up his record-breaking 200 with a sprint of 20.36, good for a third-place finish.
