
TULSA’S BRYCE ROBINSON RUNS 200M IN 20.69 TO ADVANCE TO NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

The University of Tulsa's Bryce Robinson joined Marc Scott and Simon Greiner on Saturday in advancing to NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships with qualifying times at the NCAA West Regional.
Robinson ran a fifth-place time of 20.69, second in the third heat, in the 200m Saturday night, making it the second straight season that he has qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200m.
Robinson joined 800m specialist Simon Greiner and 10,000-meters' Marc Scott in qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Greiner qualified on Friday afternoon with a time of 1:48.78 to place 10th in the 800m quarterfinals, while Scott ran a qualifying time of 29:48.51 in the 10,000m late Thursday night.
Adam Palamar finished in 14th place in the 1,500m quarterfinals with a time of 3:46.09 on Saturday, but did not qualify for the semifinal round at the NCAA Championships. On the women's side Saturday, Tulsa freshman Nicole Smith ran the 5,000m in a time of 17:14.29 to complete her season.
The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships takes places June 10-13 in Eugene, Oregon.
