Tulsa Men’s Track & Field Team Recognized as the American Athletic Conference’s Team Academic Excellence Award

American Athletic Conference Commissioner Mike Aresco has announced the 21 teams that have been recognized with 2014-15 Team Academic Excellence Awards for having the highest collective grade-point averages in each conference sport.
 
Tulsa teams recognized with the Team Academic Excellence Award is the Golden Hurricane men's indoor and outdoor men's track & field teams. The teams compiled a 3.140 cumulative grade point average.
 
The selections are made by the conference's Academic Affairs Committee. The winners were chosen based on the 2014-15 grade-point average of each student-athlete who appeared on an institution's roster as of the last contest of the championship segment in each conference-sponsored sport.
