Tulsa Football Fan Appreciation Day Set for Saturday, August 15

Fans will have an opportunity to see The University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane Football Team in action and Meet the Players on Fan Appreciation Day, scheduled for Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 a.m.-12 noon, at H.A. Chapman Stadium. The preseason event is FREE to the public.
Tulsa will scrimmage beginning at 10 am, followed by a team autograph session. Fan Appreciation Day will also feature activities for young fans, including an inflatable area, games, face painting by the TU spirit teams and an interactive photo station.
Team posters will be available and fans, not already season ticket holders, will be able to purchase Six-Game Season Tickets, Mazzio's Family Fun Zone Ticket plans or 3-Game Pick 'Em Mini-Pack Ticket packages.
A full six-game season ticket is still available for $78, $150, $210 and $270, while a 3-Game Pick 'Em Mini-Pack Plan allows fans the ability to select three games out of the six-game home schedule for $45, $90 and $120. The Mazzio's Family Fun Zone Ticket Package provides the greatest value for a family, as a family of four (two adults and two children age 12-and-under) can purchase a ticket package for just $195 for the entire six-game home schedule.
For tickets, fans can call 918.631.GoTU (4688) or purchase tickets in person at the TU athletic ticket office between 8:30-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Season tickets can also be purchased online at TulsaHurricane.com.
Tulsa opens the regular season at home against the Florida Atlantic Owls on Saturday, Sept. 5. Game time is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. The first 5,000 fans will receive a Hurricane Flag and a 2015 Magnet Schedule.
