Tulsa Men Golfers Finish in 18th Place at the Tiger Invitational

The Tulsa men's golf team finished in 18th place at the 54-hole Auburn Tiger Invitational on Tuesday. The Golden Hurricane carded a final round total of 315 for a 935 total at the par-72 Grand National Lake Course.
Freshman Jack Knoesel finished in 60th place with a 230 total after a score of 80 today. He was followed by red-shirt freshman Sam Humphreys and freshman Preston Crawford, tied for 81st place with identical scores of 235. Humphreys had the best round of the day for Tulsa with a score of 77.
Junior Matthew Marquez finished in 93rd place with a score of 243 and freshman Marc Kepka placed 94th with a total of 244.
Troy over-took host and second-round leader Auburn to claim the team title with a two-under par score of 862, while a pair of UNCG players Taylor Coalson and Jake McGlone tied for medalist honors with three-under par scores of 213.
Tulsa will be in action next at the Desert Shootout, March 18-19, in Goodyear, Arizona.
