Tulsa Track and Field’s Tim Rackers Named to 2015-16 CoSiDA Academic All-District Team

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa track and field senior long distance runner Tim Rackers was one of 12 named to the District 7 2015-16 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Academically, the St. Louis, Mo., native has been named to the President's List eight semesters by having a 4.0 GPA each semester. He also was named to the Dean's List twice, which requires a GPA between 3.5-3.99.
Rackers displayed a quality performance this year on the track as he won the 5,000-meter run in the 2016 American Indoor Conference Championships. The talented runner also finished third in the 3,000-meter run in the conference championships. Today, he finished 35th place in the 10,000m run as part of the preliminary round of 2016 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Preliminary Round Championships.
