Practice Report #5: Tulsa Back on the Practice Field after Off Day

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa football team was back on the practice field Sunday afternoon following the first off day of preseason camp on Saturday.

"What I worry about the most after an off day is that you come back and your sluggish and you don't approach it with the same intensity," said Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery. "You've laid around all day long, and now it takes a little while to get your motor going. I thought for the most part, we did a pretty get job today. I thought we finished really, really well. Early, some of us were more juiced than others, but overall I was pleased with the way that we came out today and got after each other, competed and worked.

Tulsa will be back on the practice field Monday morning.
