â˘Â         This is the third meeeting between Tulsa and Toledo, as the series is tied 1-1.

â˘Â         Tulsa faces Toledo in the third straight week for the Hurricane of facing a 2016 Bowl team, following Oklahoma State and Louisiana in the first two weeks.
â˘Â         Tulsa is one of only five FBS programs to play all of its non-conference games in 2017 against teams that played in a bowl game last season.
â˘Â         The others are Louisiana-Monroe, Oklahoma State, Rice and UCLA.Â
â˘Â         Only three of the five teams (ULM, Rice, Tulsa) have four non-conference games, while Oklahoma State and UCLA will play just three non-conference games.
â˘Â         A total of nine Tulsa opponents this year made bowl appearances last season.
â˘Â         Tulsa's 2017 opponents that made bowl appearances last year include: Oklahoma State, Louisiana, Toledo, New Mexico and conference foes Navy, Houston,             Memphis, USF and Temple.

BREWER JUMPS UP CAREER LIST . . .Â
â˘Â         D'Angelo Brewer jumped from 9th place to 4th place on the school's all-time rushing chart with his 262-yard rushing performance against Louisiana.
â˘Â         He came into the game with 2,433 career rushing yards and ended the game with 2,695 career yards.Â
â˘Â         Brewer is 820 yards away from moving up any further on the career rushing list âĤ Trey Watts (2010-13) is in third place with 3,515 yards.

â˘Â         D'Angelo Brewer became just the 5th Tulsa player to rush for over 200 yards twice in a career, and it was just the 23rd time overall that Tulsa has had a
            200-yard rusher.
â˘Â         He finished the Louisiana game with the 4th best rushing performance in school history with 262 yards on 38 attempts.Â
â˘Â         Brewer's first 200+ rushing game came last year with 252 yards on 46 carries at Fresno State.
â˘Â         The 200-yard game this year was his 10th career game of 100+ yards rushing.
â˘Â         His three TDs against Louisiana was the most in his career.
â˘Â         For his performance, Brewer was named the American Athletic Conference's co-Offensive Player of the Week.

INTERCEPTIONS TURN THE TIDEÂ . . .
â˘Â         On back-to-back Louisiana possessions in the second half, Tulsa sophomore defenders intercepted passes that stopped Ragin' Cajun drives.
â˘Â         Manny Bunch intercepted a pass at the Tulsa 5-yard line.
â˘Â         On the Cajuns' next possession, Cooper Edmiston intercepted a pass at the Tulsa 27-yard line, which led to a Tulsa touchdown and a 45-35 lead.
â˘Â         The INTs were the first for each of the two-year players.

600+ AND 400+ . . .
â˘Â         Tulsa totaled 667 total yards on 92 plays against Louisiana for the most yards in the Philip Montgomery era.
â˘Â         it marked the seventh time in the last three seasons that Tulsa has gone over 600 yards in total offense.
â˘Â         It's also the 18th game in which Tulsa has gone over 500 yards in the Montgomery era.
â˘Â         The Hurricane gained 424 yards rushing on 72 carries against Louisiana, which was the most rushing yards for Tulsa since gaining 439 yards against Ball State            in the GMAC Bowl at the end of the 2008 season.

â˘Â         Senior placekicker Redford Jones came into the season with 239 points, and needing 60 points to tie for the school's all-time scoring record.
â˘Â         After scoring 18 points in the first two games (6 vs. Oklahoma State and 12 vs. Louisiana), Jones is now only 42 points shy of the school record 299 points.
