Kilani Finishes as ITA Central Regional Runner-Up

TULSA, Okla. – University of Tulsa men's tennis senior Majed Kilani fell to Kareem Allaf (Iowa), 7-5, 2-6, 6-3, in the singles finals at the ITA Central Regional at the Case Tennis Center on Sunday.
Kilani dropped the back-and-forth first set, 7-5. The team captain rallied back to secure the second frame, 6-2. Despite his strong serve, Allaf managed to gain momentum and clinch the match.
The senior Tunisia native squared off with Jackson Allen of Minnesota in the semifinals. Kilani showed off his overpowering court coverage, taking the first frame, 6-2. In the second set, Kilani rode the momentum, clinching the match quickly, 6-3.
The tournament marked the 10th time in program history Tulsa served as the official Regional host.
