Tulsa’s Edmiston and Stokes Named to the American Athletic Conference’s Weekly Honor Roll

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa linebacker Cooper Edmiston and receiver Keylon Stokes were named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll for their performances in Tulsa's 27-24 victory over SMU on Saturday.
Edmiston, a 6'3" junior from Gatesville, Texas, had a team-high 10 tackles, including a stop for a one-yard loss. He also added an interception, his fourth of the season, on SMU's first possession which led to a Golden Hurricane touchdown and a 7-0 lead.

A 6'0" sophomore from Manvel, Texas, Stokes had a career high and Tulsa' only 100-yard receiving game this year with 140 yards on 6 receptions for a 23.3 average per reception. He had a 70-yard reception to the SMU 4-yard line that led to a 14-0 Tulsa lead. Stokes also had 3 carries for 11 yards and returned one kick for 40 yards.
