Tulsa’s Ryan Alpers Named to Google Cloud Academic All-District Team

Tulsa men's soccer player Ryan Alpers was tabbed to the Google Cloud Academic All-District VII Team, selected by CoSIDA, as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Alpers, a sophomore defender from Broken Arrow, Okla., maintains a 3.65 GPA in biology/pre-med. Previously, he has been named to the 2016-17 and 2017-18 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

On the field, Alpers started in 14 of 17 games this season, and helped TU earn three shutouts.

Alpers is now eligible for Google Cloud Academic All-America honors, which is voted on later this month.
