Tulsa Collected Six Top-Three Finishes in Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Tulsa track & field team was in action Saturday at the Arkansas Spring Invitational.
Aaliyah Birmingham picked up a third-place finish in the 200-meters, with a time of 23.74.
Breonna Hall ran the 400-meters in a time of 56.39, which placed her sixth. Ca'Purnika Galbert finished in seventh with a mark of 56.45.
With a time of 10:02.36, Ashley Barnes placed fourth in the 3,000-meters. Jenny O'Bryan finished close behind in fifth place with a mark of 10:06.54.
Kiarra Reed came in second in the 400-meter hurdles, as she posted a time of 59.70.
The team of Galbert, Hall, Birmingham, and Candalyn Lyons ran the 4x100-meter relay with a combined time of 45.85, which gave them third place.
In the women's discus, Baylor Reese recorded a throw of 41.34 meters (135-7.55) for a fifth-place finish.
In the men's 400-meters, Bailey Stewart ran his race in 48.21, for a fourth-place finish.
Grey Howard notched a third-place finish in the 800-meters with a time of 1:50.35.
In the 1,500-meters invite, Robert Tully and Mark Middleton finished inside the top-six runners. Tully came in fourth with a time of 3:50.64. Middleton posted a time of 3:52.75, good for a sixth-place finish.
Braydon Rennie was the lone Tulsa runner in the men's open 1,500-meters. He finished with a time of 3:57.47 and finished second.
Peter Lynch led the field in the 3,000-meters, as he posted a time of 8:26.65. Ellis Coon came in seventh with a time of 8:41.22.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Henry Visser notched a fourth-place finish with a time of 53.51.
The team of Howard, Stewart, Visser, and Zachary Adee came in fourth in the 4x400-meter relay, with a time of 3:17.52.
Aleks Rapp placed fourth in the discus with a hurl of 47.33 meters (155-3.38).
The Golden Hurricane returns to action Friday, March 30, as it travels to Palo Alto, California, for the Stanford Invitational.
