Tulsa Hosts Crosstown Rival Oral Roberts and Kansas State this Weekend

The Tulsa women's soccer team will play host to crosstown rival Oral Roberts and Kansas State this Friday, September 14 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 pm, respectively, at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
TU has a 3-3-1 mark this season, including a 2-2-1 home record. Anna Williams and Mia Darden lead the Golden Hurricane attack with three goals each this season, while seven others have one score. Mica MacKay has a 1.29 GAA, a 0.741 saves percentage, 20 saves and one clean sheet in 524:43 minutes between the posts, and Kay Jones has a 1.89 GAA, a 0.625 saves percentage and five saves in 142:43 minutes in goal.
Oral Roberts has a 4-5 overall record, including a 1-3 mark in road contests, and are on a four-game losing streak. Jordan Langebartels and Sierra Beall have both scored three goals for ORU this season, while two others have one score. Reagan Richins and Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl have split time in goal for a combined 1.67 GAA, a 0.746 saves percentage, 44 saves and three shutouts.
Tulsa owns a 18-4-6 lead in the series over the Golden Eagles, but the teams tied, 1-1, last season. TU has never lost to ORU under the direction of 11-year Head Coach Kyle Cussen.
Kansas State has a 3-2-2 mark this season, but will host Missouri State on Friday before making the trip to Tulsa. The Wildcats started the season 3-0, but haven't earned a win since August 23rd. Katie Cramer has a team-best two goals, but six others have one score on the year. Emma Malsy has played every minute in goal for a 0.67 GAA, a 0.884 saves percentage, 38 saves and five clean sheets.
This will be the first meeting between Tulsa and Kansas State on the women's soccer pitch.
