Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships Pre-Qualifying Draw Announced

TULSA, Okla. – The 2018 Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships pre-qualifying draw was announced on Friday, featuring just one Tulsa player in the opening round.
 
Freshman Tom Thelwall-Jones will be the first Hurricane to play in the tournament, kicking things off with a match against Henrique Osorio of Fresno State at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday.
 
Newcomer Daniel Siddall, junior Jarod Hing and sophomores Joshua Goodger and Boriss Kamdem are already entered into the qualifying round of the tournament, set to begin on Monday, Oct. 1. Goodger entered the season ranked No. 55 in the preseason Oracle ITA singles rankings.
 
Senior Majed Kilani and freshman Kody Pearson are Tulsa's guaranteed entries in the main draw on Oct. 4-8. Kilani opened the season ranked No. 39 in the preseason Oracle ITA singles rankings.
 
In doubles, the duo of Kamdem/Thelwall-Jones is waiting to see if it will be entered in the qualifying draw, along with the already entered tandem of Kilani/Pearson. The team of Hing/Siddall is already slotted in the doubles main draw.

This marks the 14th-straight year Tulsa serves as the official tournament host.
