
Tulsa’s Alpers, Habib and Williams Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

Tulsa men's soccer players Ryan Alpers and Adam Habib, and women's soccer player Anna Williams were named to the 2019 Academic All-District 7 Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Alpers and Habib both picked up first-team accolades and are now eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America recognition, while Williams was a second-team selection. Alpers is a two-time honoree to the all-district team as he picked up first team honors last season, while Williams was tabbed to the second-team in 2017.
Alpers, a senior defender from Broken Arrow, Okla., maintains a 3.64 GPA in biology. He started in seven of 12 games this season, and had two assists. Alpers is also a three-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team selection.
A junior forward from Broken Arrow, Okla., Habib maintains a 3.73 GPA in management. He started in 12 of 14 games this year, and had one goal and four assists for six points. Habib is also a two-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team selection.
Williams, a senior from Kent, England, maintains a 3.94 GPA in mechanical engineering. She started in 12 of 18 games this season, and had two goals for four points. Williams is also a three-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team selection.
