TULSA, Okla. –– University of Tulsa junior quarterback Zach Smith and senior defensive back Reggie Robinson II were named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll for their performances Saturday in a 49-24 road win at ECU.
 
The 6'3" Smith threw for a career-high 5 touchdowns and completed 70-percent of his passes (21-of-31) for 331 yards against the Pirates. His 5 TD passes totaled 140 yards, covering 66, 29, 4, 2 and 39 yards. Smith, from Grandview, Texas, completed 17-of-23 passes for 275 yards and 3 touchdowns in the first half to give Tulsa a 21-3 halftime lead.

Robinson II, a 6'1 cornerback from Cleburne, Texas, had a career-high 4 pass breakups and added one fumble recovery for a 31-yard return and 3 tackles, all solos, as the Hurricane defense held ECU to 3 points at halftime, and only 10 points at the end of 3 quarters.
 
Robinson's fumble recovery and return came early in the 3rd quarter and led to a Tulsa touchdown that put the Hurricane ahead 28-3 with 11:40 to play in the 3rd period.
