The Tulsa men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 overtime decision at Missouri State on Saturday night at the Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium in Springfield, Mo. TU fell to 2-2 on the season, while MSU moved to 4-0 overall.

"I thought we possessed the ball well and the guys did what we asked them to do," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "I was pleased with our approach and our concentration level. We play a brave brand of soccer and I am proud of our team. MSU is a good team, especially at home, and they will win a lot of games this season. We have to learn from tonight and get ready for the next one."

Harris Partain put the Golden Hurricane on the board with just 7:02 ticked off the clock off an assist from Adam Habib. TU maintained the lead until Ian Jones got the equalizer or the Bears in the 82^nd minute. Josh Dolling recorded the game-winner in the 95^th minute to give MSU the win.

Missouri State had an 11-3 lead in shots, including a 6-1 advantage in shots on goal, and a 5-1 lead in corner kicks.

Partain, Marcos Moreno and Charles Noyelle each had one shot in the contest, while Brady Moody logged all 94:58 between the posts and picked up four saves.

Tulsa will return to action on Tuesday, September 17 at Saint Louis. Game time is set for 7:00 pm in St. Louis, Mo.
