
Tulsa to Face TCU in Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City

TULSA – The University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane will face off against TCU in the first game of the 2020 Hall of Fame Classic powered by ShotTracker at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. on Nov. 28, it was announced
The tournament bracket also features Northwestern and South Carolina in the second semifinal round matchup. The event will conclude on Nov. 29 with the consolation and championship matchups.
All games will air live on ESPN networks. Game times and networks will be announced soon.
Coming off of an American Athletic Conference Championship season, the Hurricane will face the Horned Frogs for the first time since 2013. Tulsa leads the overall series 22-12.
This season will mark the 20th anniversary of the Hall of Fame Classic event in Kansas City. In addition to the on-court action, the Hall of Fame Classic will provide a platform to celebrate the latest National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame induction class.
Tulsa returns two full-time starters, Elijah Joiner and Brandon Rachal, as well as Darien Jackson, Emmanuel Ugboh and Josh Earley, who each started games for last season's 21-10 championship team. Tulsa also welcomes seven newcomers, including five freshmen and two transfers, to the roster.
Head Coach Frank Haith enters his 7th season at the helm of the Hurricane with an overall 116-76 record.
The 2020 Hall of Fame Classic will not have fans in attendance at T-Mobile Center.
