Rachal Named to American Athletic Conference Honor Roll

TULSA, Okla. – Senior Brandon Rachal lands on the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll after leading the Hurricane against the TCU Horned Frogs and the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Rachal averaged 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.5 blocks in the two matchups. He shot 13-23 (56.5) from the field and 4-5 (80.0) at the free throw line.
Against TCU, the forward led the team in points (19) and rebounds (8) while also adding in 2 blocks. He recorded an assist and a steal during Tulsa's season opener in the first round of the Hall of Fame Classic powered by ShotTracker.
In the final round of the tournament against South Carolina, Rachal scored 14 points on 4-10 (40%) shooting from the field and 4-5 (80%) from the free throw line. He added 3 rebounds, a block and an assist for the Hurricane.
Tulsa will be back in action on Friday, Dec. 4 in the home opener at the Reynolds Center against UT Arlington.
