Tulsa’s Josh Johnson Named to The American’s Football Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas –– Tulsa's Josh Johnson was named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll for his performance in the 44-10 Golden Hurricane win over Temple on Saturday.
The 5'11" senior receiver from Little Rock, Arkansas, had a career-high 159 yards on nine receptions in the win over Temple, including an eight-yard touchdown that gave Tulsa a 17-0 lead in the second quarter. Johnson also had receptions of 25 yards on a 3rd-and 7, a 26-yard reception and a 42-yarder that led to Tulsa's 34-3 lead.
Johnson's 159-yard game gives him 868 yards and four TDs on the year to lead the Hurricane receivers. It also marked his fourth 100+ yard receiving game of the season.
Tulsa travels to to play its regular season finale against the SMU Mustangs on Saturday in a 3 p.m. (CT) matchup on ESPN2.
