
Tulsa’s Jeriah Horne Earns Spot on AAC Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas. –– The University of Tulsa men's basketball forward Jeriah Horne was named to the American Athletic Conference's Honor Roll for the second time this season, following Tulsa's win against Little Rock on Friday.
Horne paced Tulsa with 17 points, one of four Golden Hurricane to finish in double-figures against the Trojans. He knocked down seven of his 13 shots (53.8 percent) and made three triples. He also pulled down eight rebounds, had three steals and dished out two assists. Horne has scored in double-figures in each of the six games this season and is tied for the team lead in points per game (17.3) with Sam Griffin.
The Hurricane takes on cross-town rival Oral Roberts tonight as Tulsa looks to win its fifth straight in the series. The game tips off at 7:00 p.m. in the Mabee Center on the campus of ORU. After tonight's game, Tulsa will head to Boise, Idaho to take on the Boise State Broncos on Friday night. Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m. (CT) on the Mountain West Network.
