Alex Meinhard Named to Two National Teams of the Week

Tulsa men's soccer player Alex Meinhard was named to the College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer Teams of the Week, as announced today by the respective publications.
 
Meinhard scored two goals, including the game winner, and recorded an assist against UCF last week.  He put Tulsa on the board in the 15th minute as he drilled in a score from six yards out from left to right.  He then gave TU a two-goal cushion in the 30th minute, but this time scored from right to left from 10 yards out.  The Hurricane took that 2-0 advantage into halftime.  In the second half, Meinhard picked up an assist on Ben Barkley's goal in the 66th minute. 
 
Meinhard played 83 minutes of the contest and had a team-best five shots, three of which were on goal.
