Tulsa Tennis Hosts #21 Arizona State Wednesday

TULSA NOTES

TULSA, Okla.
–– The Tulsa men's tennis team begins a nine-match home-stand on Wednesday with a meeting against the nation's 21st-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils of the PAC-12. The match time at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center is set for 3 p.m.
 
Tulsa enters the match with an overall 6-4 record, while Arizona State has posted a 9-1 mark with its only loss coming at the hands of the No. 4-ranked Texas Longhorns. Among Tulsa's wins were a 4-3 decision over the PAC-12's Washington Huskies and a 5-2 victory over 23rd-ranked Texas Tech.
 
The ASU match is the first of nine straight matches for the Hurricane, seven in March and two in April. In addition to the Sun Devils, Tulsa will play two more top-25 teams, while a third is ranked 28th.
 
Tulsa faces the 25th-ranked Memphis Tigers in a Sunday match (Mar. 7) and also has home matches this month against SEC foes – LSU and Mississippi – and a rematch against No. 23-ranked Oklahoma State of the Big 12.
 
The Hurricane will also face UTSA, Wichita State, Drake and Temple as part of the home-stand.
