
Tulsa Men’s Tennis Falls at No. 11 UCF

ORLANDO, Fla. –– The 38th-ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane fell to the nation's 11th-ranked UCF Knights 4-1 on Tuesday afternoon after the match was delayed by a one-hour rain delay. Tulsa fell to 11-1 and UCF improved to 19-3 overall.
UCF grabbed the doubles point and jumped out to a 3-0 lead with wins at the No. 4 and No. 2 singles positions.
Tulsa got on the scoreboard when the nation's 3rd-ranked Gabriel Decamps retired the match to Tulsa's 82nd-ranked Kody Pearson. Decamps won the 1st set 6-1 and Pearson won the second set by a 6-3 score before Decamps retired.
Tulsa begins play in the American Athletic Conference Championship this weekend, April 22-25, in Orlando, Fla.
