PRACTICE 10: Tulsa Begins Final Week of Preseason Camp

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team practiced four two hours on Harwell Field Monday morning.

The Hurricane returned to the practice field following Saturday's scrimmage and a Sunday off day.

"I saw a lot of good things on film from Saturday's scrimmage, but we saw things we need to correct. That's what you should see in your first scrimmage," said Tulsa Head Coach Philip Montgomery. "I was pleased with the way the guys came into the meeting rooms today. They were really attentive and wanting to learn and that's what you need after the two scrimmages that you get."

"The scrimmages give us a chance to really get as close to a game type experience that we can get in the preseason and still stay healthy, but we need that leading into our first game," said Montgomery.
