TULSA, Okla.–– Tailgating and the Chapman Live Concert Series will return in 2021 for Tulsa Golden Hurricane home football games.
The Chapman Live Concert Series will kick-off at the season opener on Thursday night, Sept. 2, against Cal-Davis when Trett Charles takes center stage on Chapman Commons. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
Live Music, inflatables and the beer garden will open three hours before kick, 3:30 p.m. for the season opener.
This year, Tulsa will introduce the new "Bud Light Party Porch" for the 2021 season, an area located in the heart of Chapman Commons. The beer garden style layout will provide additional atmosphere for the casual tailgater who wants to relax and enjoy the pregame festivities.
Also new this year, tailgaters have the option to "rent-a-spot" on Chapman Commons and bring their own tailgating supplies to a designated area. For $100, fans can bring their own tent (and other supplies), drop them off on Chapman Commons, and get a premier parking spot near the tailgating area.
The Golden Hurricane Club and Alumni Tailgate Tents will open roughly two hours and 30 minutes before kickoff.
Paid tailgating is available on Glenn Dobbs Drive (8th Street) and Chapman Commons. Spots on Chapman Commons comes with a parking stall, power and cable hookups. Tailgating opens five hours prior kickoff this season. Tailgating will shut down 30 minutes prior to kick-off to allow fans ample time to enter the stadium.
