Tulsa Golf Season Underway

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa golfers opened the 2021-22 season at the Samuel P. Golden Invitational, Sept. 13-14, in Denton, Texas. The Golden Hurricane finished with rounds of 285-284-283 for a 12-under par 852 total score for 6th place at the par-72 Wildhorse Golf Course at Robson Ranch.

For the Hurricane, junior Lilly Thomas finished in 6th place and senior Lorena Tseng placed 12th overall at the Sam Golden Invitational. Thomas carded a 9-under par score of 207, while Tseng had a 7-under par 209 total for the 54 holes.
 
Tulsa will be in action next at the Schooner Fall Classic, Sunday-Monday, Sept. 26-27, at the Belmar Golf Course in Norman, Okla.
