Tulsa Drops Spring Opener to Cal

TULSA, Okla. ― The Tulsa men's tennis team dropped Saturday night's dual match opener to Cal 4-3. Tulsa is now 0-1 on the season.
Tulsa started off on the right track, as the duos of Adham Gaber/Callum Gale and Daniel Siddall/Tom Thelwall-Jones both won their doubles matchups to give Tulsa an early 1-0 lead.
However, Cal would bounce back in the singles, winning four of the decisions to take the match. Kody Pearson and Connor Di Marco were the lone Tulsa singles to win their matches.
The Golden Hurricane will look to bounce back next Saturday, January 22, against Purdue at noon and Illinois State at 6 p.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
