Three Tulsa Men’s Soccer Players Named to Academic All-District First Team

Will Edwards, Malik Henry-Scott and Henry Sach were named to the 2022 Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team as selected by the College Sports Communicators. This honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Edwards, a junior forward from Jenks., Okla., maintains a 3.667 GPA exercise and sports science. He has one goal and one assist for three points this season.

A junior forward from Plano, Texas., Henry-Scott has a 3.656 GPA in exercise and sports science. On the field this season, he has tallied six goals and one assist for 13 points, and ranks second on the team with 34 shots.

Sach, a senior defender from Benitachell, Spain, maintains a 3.75 GPA in management. He has one goal and two assists for four points, and has been instrumental in the team's seven shutouts this year. Sach was tabbed to the American Athletic Conference all-conference first team, named to the College Soccer News Team of the Week once and was selected as The American Defensive Player of the Week once.
